Station Four is seeking a Software Development Traffic Manager to join our team in Jacksonville, FL. IMPORTANT:

We have a hybrid work environment! While we work from home for most of the week, we meet in our office, located in the Riverside area of Jacksonville, once a week for planning, coordination, and lunch. This one day a week in the office is very important to our culture, so while this is mostly a remote position, WE WILL ONLY CONSIDER CANDIDATES WHO ARE LOCATED NEAR ENOUGH TO OUR OFFICE TO BE PHYSICALLY PRESENT FOR OUR ONE DAY A WEEK THAT WE ARE ON-SITE.

This is a non-negotiable requirement!

Position Overview:

This role is primarily responsible for overseeing the flow of tasks, projects, and resources within our software development team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail; a basic understanding of the Agile Development methodology and software development processes is advantageous.

This position also fills the role of Office Manager as a collateral duty. Responsibilities for this role include administrative support, calendar and schedule management for executives, and occasional event coordination.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitoring project statuses and deadlines
    • Ensure that project tasks are scheduled and assigned to the appropriate team members
  • Track tasks to ensure that they are completed on time and within budget
  • Notify Project Managers of roadblocks in a project as reported by the Production Team
  • Set up and monitor the Production Team’s schedule
    • Ensure that all Production Team members have appropriately loaded schedules
  • Work in collaboration with Project and Account Managers to schedule and plan incoming work
  • Foster communication between the Production Team and the Project and Account Managers
    • Produce routine reports
  • Report on ongoing work to Project and Account Managers
    • Provide daily updates on project progress
  • Provide weekly summaries of project progress
  • Administrative support
    • Assist with invoicing and payment receipt
  • Stock office with supplies, including re-ordering as necessary
  • Occasional trips to mail packages or deposit checks
  • Assist executives with calendar and schedule management
    • Schedule meetings and appointments
  • Occasional coordination of travel arrangements
  • Event planning and coordination
    • Assist with planning company events ranging from group lunches to small team outings
  • Manage logistics and other critical details to ensure the event runs smoothly

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Technical Writing, or a related field; or Associate’s Degree in the aforementioned disciplines and 2 years of work experience in a related field; or 4 years of work experience in a role directly related to software development project management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in productivity software (Microsoft Office, Google Suite, etc.).
  • Familiarity with digital marketing and software development concepts and technologies is a plus.
